I have worked as a therapist for adults and couples in the San Diego area since 2011. I feel strongly that people undergoing times of major change truly deserve special attention. That’s why I support women before, during, and after pregnancy, men who are transitioning into fatherhood, and individuals or couples facing significant life disturbances.

As an LCSW, I have trained extensively in mental health from an academic and professional standpoint, with special attention to depression, anxiety, and adjustment disorders.

As a partner and mother, I also share a personal understanding of the challenges that come with fertility concerns, pregnancy, birth, motherhood while maintaining a romantic relationship. I’ve experienced our culture’s tendency toward isolation for new mothers, where it could be offering great support. Not only expectant parents, but all kinds of people in a period of emotional or psychological distress find they aren’t met with the support to help them cope.

This is why I create an environment of healing for individuals and couples during significant transition. I concentrate my practice on helping others foster the skills to maximize life experiences and reduce the intrusion of concerns and stresses that arise in times of change.

My focus is on facing emotional and psychological issues head-on so that you are empowered to work through them, and to re-emerge stronger and more insightful. I believe that directly confronting life’s challenges opens the door for more fulfilling experiences and lays the groundwork for facing future obstacles.

I am always honored when someone invites me to be their guide in this vulnerable and courageous process. I value my clients’ own unique strengths and perspectives, and enjoy helping people recognize their own insight. I’d love to offer you my support and a safe space to fully explore your new role, as well as help you to find your truest self as an individual, partner, or parent.
